The Hall recieved funding through Heritage Lottery Fund to develop activities and events to celebrate 100 years of the halls life. Local residents took part in a heritage quiz night, object handling sessions, visits to Weardale and Beamish Museums, Durham Records Office and have recieved training in Oral History Recording and cataloguing. A felt frieze was created depicting landmarks that have shaped the community and the local landscape. Children from Wearhead Primary School helped us to design a commmunity proggy mat.
